Painted Finish Cabinets
Old River Cabinets offers the widest array of standard finishes and colors available on the market and, of course, offers our master finishing specialist to assist you with blending your own custom painted finish color. Translucent glazes can also be applied over both painted and stained surfaces to add that extra color cast or texture highlight. The glazed finishes will build up and add definition to rope detail, contour lines, medallions, and other specialty architectural construction details.
Maple is typically used for cabinet face frame parts as well as door and drawer parts. In order to ensure good adhesion with the painted finish, veneer plywood is used on all other cabinet parts. Very slight "telegraphing" of the grain texture and wood characteristics may be visible under the finish due to the nature of wood under certain circumstances.
Our top-coat is available in both Satin, a semi-gloss sheen, and Matte, a low sheen finish. We also offer "Olde" distressed finishes, details in contrasting colors; really, if you can imagine the finish effect, we can delight you with our unsurpassed cabinet finishing capability.
